As a growing company, we’re looking for a passionate, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales and Administrative Assistant to join our team and help us expand our brand and customer base.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
In this dynamic role, you will support both our sales and administrative functions. You’ll be key in managing client communications, processing orders, assisting with marketing campaigns, and helping coordinate promotional events. This position offers a blend of administrative, creative, and customer-facing tasks, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to a variety of projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES TASKS
- Client Communications: Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, and other channels, delivering exceptional service.
- Sales Documentation: Create and send quotes to potential clients, and generate invoices once orders are confirmed.
- Coordination with Production: Communicate client orders and special requests to the production team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Courier Arrangements: Obtain courier quotes, coordinate shipping schedules, and ensure smooth product delivery.
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
- Website Updates: Assist with updating website content, including product descriptions, pricing and brochures.
- Expo & Event Support: Assist with trade show, expo, and promotional event preparation, including travel arrangements, display setup, and product availability.
- Database Management: Maintain and organise customer lists, sales records, and leads for future campaigns.
- Marketing Support: Support in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and other activities.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service, with a focus on client relations and order processing.
- Event Coordination: Experience in event planning or trade show organisation is a plus.
- Product Knowledge: Interest in outdoor products, especially wood-fired hot tubs, with a willingness to learn.
- Marketing Support: Experience in assisting with marketing-related tasks is advantageous.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
