The Buitengewoon Coil Hot Tub is our beautifully simple take on wood-fired hot tubbing. Water circulates naturally through the external 2.5 mm stainless-steel coil, where it is heated by the fire before flowing back into the tub – with no electricity or pump required for heating. Typical heating time is approximately 75–120 minutes, depending on conditions. At the heart of every Buitengewoon hot tub is a fibreglass shell manufactured using vinylester resin and finished with a marine gel top coat. We choose vinylester rather than standard polyester resin for its excellent resistance to water, heat and repeated heating and cooling cycles. The Pebble Grey bath features a comfortable curved backrest and non-slip base, while the exterior is finished in Rhino Wood. Holding approximately 750 litres and comfortably accommodating 3–5 adults, the Coil Hot Tub is ideal for gardens, patios, holiday homes and accommodation properties. For increased heating performance, an optional Rocket Stove can be added to the external coil system.
