What is the Snorkel Hot Tub best suited for?
The Snorkel is ideal for wooden decks, patios, and covered outdoor spaces where a freestanding, installation-free wood-fired hot tub is preferred.
Does the Snorkel offer an open wood-fired hot tub experience?
Unlike the Coil model, the Snorkel does not offer a visible open-fire heating ritual. It uses a contained heating system designed for safer, more flexible placement.
Can the Snorkel be installed undercover?
Yes, it is well suited to covered outdoor spaces. Bends and extensions can be added to the flue, allowing the smoke outlet to be redirected to a preferred position. It is not intended for indoor use.

Our unique inner shell is shaped for complete immersion – allowing you to settle deeply into the water rather than perch above it. Handcrafted from multiple layers of premium fibreglass and finished with a marine-grade gel coat, it is built for exceptional durability and longevity.
At its core, the shell is constructed using advanced vinylester resin technology – chosen for superior water resistance and long-term structural integrity.
The gently curved walls cradle your back, while the non-slip base keeps you secure. Whether you choose to recline, sit cross-legged, or gather comfortably with others, your hot tub adapts to you – not the other way around.
Every Buitengewoon hot tub is wrapped in carefully selected timber cladding that enhances both its performance and its presence in your space.
We offer two exceptional options:

CCA-treated pine wood is a warm-toned, cost-effective timber treated for long-term resistance to moisture, insects, and decay, ensuring your tub remains beautiful season after season.

Rhino wood is a premium, thermally modified hardwood with rich, natural tones. Highly durable and low-maintenance, it’s designed to withstand the elements while ageing with elegance.
Your choice of cladding frames your hot tub’s beauty – making it distinctly yours.
